Rumor Roundup (Dec. 10, 2015): Sting at WrestleMania 32, Ric Flair plans, SmackDown on USA, more!

New, comments

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • PW Insider is reporting that even if Sting doesn't wrestle on the show -- and considering his pending neck surgery, that seems unlikely -- he'll be at WrestleMania 32 in some form considering the show is in his hometown.
  • Don't be surprised to see Ric Flair on television as a regular character more often than not going forward, at least for a while and possibly into WrestleMania 32.
  • There's more talk of changes coming to SmackDown when it moves to USA next year, though it's unclear what that will be.
  • The Observer notes that WWE putting up all that footage of classic promotions on the Network is a test to see if there are increases in subscriptions around the holiday season.
  • Despite his injury, AJ Styles is apparently still planning on working the ROH Final Battle show on Dec. 18, according to the Observer.
