Rumor Roundup (Nov. 24, 2015): Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns, WWE title plans, Lana return, Awesome Kong, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Though the late decision to pull the trigger on Sheamus' successful Money in the Bank cash-in will probably lead to a short title reign, it won't be too short. Current plans call on him to keep the belt until Royal Rumble.
  • The major concern about putting the belt on Roman Reigns is they don't won't him to be booed when he's champ. The idea is to build goodwill prior to his eventual win, not only with angles but also with outside appearances which focus on the man behind the character.
  • Whispers yesterday afternoon had Lana returning with Rusev on last night's Raw in the engaged couple's hometown of Nashville. The Diva is working out at the Performance Center and would obviously be cleared for a non-physical role, but the decision was made to not bring her back - and may mean she won't be linked to her man in kayfabe when she does return.
  • After missing last night's Survivor Series show, Darren Young Tweeted that he was dealing with a personal issues and stories spread that he'd be missing time as a result. But, like the Becky Lynch last week, it looks like he'll still be available while he deals with whatever is going on, since he was on Raw.
  • Speaking of mixed reports, Pro Wrestling Sheet is saying that Awesome Kong is not retiring...yet. She is done in Japan, but is still under contract with TNA until January and available for them to use. If she doesn't like the terms offered by Dixie Carter on a renewal, she will retire in the States as well at the end of her current deal.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
