NXT returned to Full Sail in Orlando, Florida for another set of tapings tonight.

Show 1 (November 25):

With William Regal out of action due to surgery, the tapings begin with a new General Manager for NXT. That man is the voice of the WWE, Michael Cole.

The tapings start with Cole having his first act as General Manager, presiding over the contract signing for Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe for TakeOver. The signing received high praise from those in attendance. Joe really seems motivated in this heel role.

Next up is the tag title rematch with the Vaudevillains challenging the new champions Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder. Dawson & Wilder retain their championships, but after the match, Enzo & Cass storm out and go after the Southern boys.

Asuka vs. Dana Brooke never starts, because it was all a trap by the Total Diva as Emma (seemingly dressed like a Ninja) comes out and sneak attacks Asuka, applying the Emma Lock on the beloved Mayor of Asuka City.

Apollo Crews is out next to take on Jesse Sorenson. Crews wins, of course. He accepts Corbin's challenge for TakeOver UK.

Finally, what I'm sure you all scrolled down to first. The match everyone was waiting for. The fate of the women's division was up for grabs as Eva Marie took on Bayley. Luckily, the match was broadcast on Periscope, so I've actually seen it, and it was fabulous. Not necessarily well worked, because Eva, but INCREDIBLY well booked. It starts off ominous with Lil' Naitch coming out to referee the match, and we know he can't be trusted. Twist and turns, ref bumps, heartstopping nearfalls, Bayley kicking out of Sliced Red, Nia Jax looming at Ringside, they really did everything possible to make this match compelling television, and it's going to be. The good kind of overbooked.

In the end, though, the future of Women's Wrestling is safe, and Bayley emerges victorious with a second Rope Belly to Bayley suplex. Not gonna say I told y'all so, but only because you can look at the last spoiler post and read it.

Between the crowd reactions for this match, and the way it was booked, Triple H has to have officially locked up Booker of the Year. No one has done a better job booking a promotion than Triple H has in NXT. He understands this fanbase so very well. He doesn't always give them what they want, but he makes sure the journey is compelling regardless, and works them into a frenzy at the right times.

After the match, Nia Jax attacks Bayley, and the stage is set for their clash, as Bayley continues to traverse her way through the heels of NXT like the future John Cena they want her to be.

Show 2 (December 2):

We start the second show off with Tye Dillinger against Baron Corbin, and Corbin wins quickly.

Next up, Nia Jax squash time, against a familiar face in Full Sail... Blue Pants! Either she's out of the doghouse or never was in it, but regardless, she's back. She was handily defeated by Jax as is to be expected.

And more returns to Full Sail as Adam Rose comes out to face... JAMES STORM! Storm emerges victorious and likely laments Adam Rose's poor luck.

Jordan & Gable take on the Vaudevillains next as the second episode rolls on. Gable & Jordan continue their winning ways and go for the post match handshake, but are rebuffed by the VVs. That doesn't seem very manly. Looks like a heel turn is in the works for them.

Emma is also in action, taking on Gionna Daddio, now going by what I assume is her more permanent name, Liv Morgan, which as NXT generator names go is actually really solid. Still, when your shoot name is Brock Lesnar level great, anything is a downgrade.

After the match, Asuka is on the Titantron and warns Emma that she'll be seeing her in London.

And the second show main event sees Samoa Joe in action against... Tommaso Ciampa! According to the live reports, this was the match of the taping. It was also apparently extremely violent and stiff, they both laid into each other with some hard shots throughout.

Show 3  (December 9):

The third show starts off with Riddick Moss making his TV debut against Bull Dempsey. Dempsey emerges victorious.

The Realest Guys in the Room are finally in action again, taking on Hollis and Skyler, last week's victims of Dash & Dawson. Enzo and Cass win, and call out Dawson & Dash, and the match is made for London.

Next up, Deonna Purrazzo makes her second NXT appearance, and possibly her last as she takes on Asuka. Asuka wins, and after the match, Emma and Dana confront her from the stage setting up their match.

The Hype Bros take on BAMF next, and the gear they were wearing has to be seen to be believed. It looks like Blake and Alexa are wearing the exact same thing. It's fantastic, look for the pictures on Twitter. Alexa's largely incompetent Boys lose yet again after a Super Rough Ryder.

Finally, before the main event, we have Peyton Royce with her Poison Ivy look taking on Bayley. Bayley gets the win, and after the match, Nia Jax and Eva Marie enter, and the match is confirmed, Nia Jax vs. Bayley for the championship in London. Geno joked about Jax and Eva as Diesel and Michaels, but it seems they're going the other way, and Eva will be playing the role of Jax's heatseeking missile of a manager. Seems like a good role for Eva, honestly.

And in the taping main event, it's Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor and Apollo Crews, teasing their respective matches for TakeOver.

And that's the tapings.
