Report: Former TNA stars Austin Aries, Gunner backstage at NXT tapings

NXT returns to Full Sail in Orlando, Florida tonight for another set of television tapings and PW Insider is reporting some big names are already backstage. That includes James Storm, who made his debut weeks ago and has been teasing another appearance. But it also includes two other former TNA stars.

Aries returned to Ring of Honor earlier this year after his contract with TNA came up, though he's still been used on television for the TNA world title series thanks to it taping so far in advance. He would instantly become one of the best workers on the NXT roster, assuming he's going to be used.

Gunner, meanwhile, left TNA back in June and just last month said "there are some talks going on" in regards to coming to WWE.
