Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to PW Insider, there is a lot of support within WWE right now for Dean Ambrose and a push for him to win the WWE world heavyweight championship at Survivor Series.
  • Either way, it looks like the WWE world title tournament final will feature Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns.
  • The Observer is reporting that Charlotte was given the script for her angle with Paige on Raw this week the night of the show and there were "some scripted lines that weren't recited exactly as they were written, but that didn't affect the attempt."
  • Natalya vs. Sasha Banks may take place at Survivor Series as the pre-show match, according to the Observer, or at least that was the plan at one point.
  • Dixie Carter is teasing a new TV deal for TNA and it's thought that POP TV and WGN America are the two leading candidates.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
