Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Although it's still unclear exactly how much time he'll miss, the Observer notes John Cena could be out for a number of months. Apparently he asked for this time off back in the summer.
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE world heavyweight title could be the match they make for WrestleMania 32, playing off the finish of WrestleMania 31.
  • Speaking of which, the idea is apparently still for Reigns to get a big push leading into winning the title at WrestleMania.
  • WWE may do a title change in the New Day-Dudley Boyz match tonight. Apparently they've gone back and forth on the idea due to the want to keep the Network specials with an "anything can happen" feel.
  • Finn Balor could be turning heel at the NXT Takeover: Respect event to start a title program with Samoa Joe.
