After an afternoon of Xavier Wood's kayfabe-injury absence being played up by The New Day & The Dudley Boyz on social media, the Hell in a Cell tag team championship match opened with Big E & Kofi Kingston honoring their fallen brother. Carrying his busted trombone, the pair promising to play drums on The Dudleyz (with E playing bass on Bubba Ray's belly like he's a caucasian Kamala).

Kofi & D-Von started, and the brothers quickly took it to the two remaining glorious unicorns. Kingston tried to regroup, but was forced back in by the referee. A botched tandem maneuver lead to Big #Booty dancing his way into the match, and putting the boots to D-Von in The New Day's corner.
Big E called for "that thing", which turned out to be a Wassup headbutt. Unfortunately, the tag champs aren't good at "that thing", so it allowed for a hot tag. The Dudleyz did the move right, but Kofi stopped a call for tables with a drop kick and then tried to frame Bubba with Xavier's busted musical instrument.
The referee wouldn't call for the disqualification because he didn't see its use (and saw Kofi smiling), but Big E nailed Bubba with it a few minutes later, setting up Trouble in Paradise for the cleanest win of the feud for the champs.
Get well soon, X. The tag belts will be waiting for you when you get back.
