Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There's apparently been some increased talk of having more NXT stars answer John Cena's US title open challenge to get them exposure on the main roster.
  • Ric Flair commented on a recent podcast that Steve Austin might boycott WrestleMania 32 if Michael Hayes/The Fabulous Freebirds aren't inducted into the Hall of Fame next year.
  • Although they've never acknowledged the relationship between Nikki Bella and John Cena on WWE television outside of Total Divas there are, of course, rumors going around that Cena could feud with Dolph Ziggler over his trying to get back together with her on the season four finale. Seems unlikely, but there you go.
  • Here's a super fun rumor: Apparently Big Van Vader has been offered $5000 to do a shoot fight in the US sometime this month.
  • TNA is apparently taping television shows in India in early December, according to PW Insider.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
