New Japan Wrestle Kingdom 9 results, live open thread tonight (January 4, 2015) from the Tokyo Dome

GlobalForceWrestling.com

Here's a place to check results and comment along with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW)'s Wrestle Kingdom 9 pay-per-view (PPV) - happening Sunday, January 4, 2015 from the Tokyo Dome.  The show will air live during the early morning hours for United States audiences, with replays available throughout the day around the world via a variety of means.

NJPW has their own, WWE Network like streaming service, New Japan World which can be subscribed to worldwide and that will broadcast the show.  You can access NJW at this link.

The company has also partnered with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling (GFW) to offer the show on traditional PPV and via the Flipps mobile app with English language commentary from WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and Lucha Underground's Matt Striker.  Check out all the ways you can watch GFW's version of WK 9 on their website here.

With a bell time of 4PM in Japan, the broadcast will start at 2AM Eastern time in the U.S.  GFW's version will rebroadcast the four hour show Sunday night at 7PM Eastern time.

Wrestle Kingdom is the biggest event on New Japan's calendar - whatever the January show from the Tokyo Dome is called, it's NJPW's version of WrestleMania -  and they've put together an exciting card worthy of that status.  It's headlined by Japan's version of Rock/Austin in Tanahashi vs. Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight title, but there's not really a bad match in the bunch with an entertaining mix of Japanese and international stars capable of working a variety of styles.
