Rumor Roundup (Jan. 23, 2015): Royal Rumble winner, Hall of Fame, WWE injuries, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

• WWE has chosen who is going to win the Royal Rumble and while it can change the plan as of now, apparently, is to go with Daniel Bryan.

• Add Kevin Nash to the list of wrestlers who could go into the Hall of Fame this year. There have been some rumors going around that he has heat with WWE for how his domestic violence case was handled, but that appears to be a non-issue at this point.

• Maria Menounous is likely going to be tabbed to host the WWE Hall of Fame red carpet arrival show that is expected to air on the WWE Network.

• Both Nikki Bella (leg) and Xavier Woods (ankle) are currently working through injuries.

• Ring of Honor's Final Battle event did an estimated 8,000 buys, according to the latest Observer Newsletter. There has also apparently been talk of getting out of the iPPV business.
