Rumor Roundup (Jan. 20, 2015): Daniel Bryan, Royal Rumble surprises, New Age Outlaws, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There's been some talk of Daniel Bryan entering the Royal Rumble at the number one spot, likely announced after he defeats Kane on SmackDown this week. That way he either wins from that spot or goes really long and they get a ton of heat on the heel who eliminates him. Let's just hope if they go that route, they don't do what they did to CM Punk last year.
  • A name being thrown around as a possible surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble is Diamond Dallas Page, according to PW Insider.
  • The New Age Outlaws may be sticking around after Royal Rumble to run a series of matches with The Ascension to help get them over.
  • The infamous rumor monger MetsFan4Ever is saying morale within WWE is really high as far as SmackDown is concerned and there is a feeling the show will be much better off this year with the move to Thursday.
  • Kalisto could be getting a main roster call up soon.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
