Jim Ross predicts Daniel Bryan will win the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia

WWE.com

The Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) event is now just one week away from invading the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and that means we're just one week away from crowning the next number one contender to the WWE world heavyweight championship and cementing one half of the main event of WrestleMania 31.

But who will it be?

Over on his blog, Jim Ross offers his prediction:

I've waffled on the winner of the Rumble match itself several times, perhaps I should have been a professional politician, but my latest 'gut feeling' is that Daniel Bryan takes home the WM31 main event spot.

This year's Rumble match couldn't be any more intriguing. The widely held belief, based on various rumors and reports, is that Roman Reigns is the favorite to win because the powers that be within WWE are gearing up to strap a rocket to his back and push him to the moon.

However, Bryan's unexpected return from injury in late December may have thrown a monkey wrench in those plans. Indeed, the former WWE world heavyweight champion -- who never lost that title, by the way -- already has a great deal of fan support and has been booked like a top babyface star.

Both have declared for the match, the first two to do so.

Ross is going Bryan but are you?
