Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Alberto Del Rio has said he's received offers to do MMA from both Bellator and the UFC but according to the Observer, the UFC is not interested at this time.
  • AJ Lee was apparently scheduled to return to Monday Night Raw recently but her injury has prevented her from doing so. She's advertised for house shows next week and is expected back on TV imminently.
  • While the Elimination Chamber concept is dead as a pay-per-view, PW Insider notes that it's not completely dead as a gimmick match WWE could break out from time to time for special occasions.
  • Apparently Tyson Kidd and Cesaro have been at the Performance Center training together and coming up with tag team spots.
  • Morale within TNA, despite the new television deal and being back to work, is apparently still low, perhaps even as low as it was when it wasn't clear if the company would find a new TV partner. There is a very real fear that 2015 could be the end for the promotion.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
