WWE Main Event results (Jan. 13, 2015): The New Day vs. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro & Adam Rose

WWE.com

WWE Main Event came waltzing back into our lives tonight (Tues., Jan. 13 2015) from the Baton Rogue River Center in Baton Rogue, Lousiana - and we forgot all about it until after it's initial airing at 8 p.m. ET on the WWE Network.

I should probably be fired.  The Authority General told me this would happen when my team won the match in Trivia Crack to oust him from power forever a few days at Survivor Series our last Skype meeting!

Tonight's show will featured The New Day vs. Adam Rose & The Masters of the WWE Universe in six-man action.

Be sure to come back here at 8 p.m. ET for the Main Event live results and thread.

WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS

- Los Matadores defeated The Dust Brothers when Diego rolled up Goldust.  The bull fighters were for some reason not disqualified even though El Torito took down the legal man before the pinfall.

- Main Event will not be on next week (reportedly due to some issues with Sky over the UK Network launch) - in its place, we'll get Santino's Royal Rumble Lottery Spectacular!

- The Ascension show up to address the folks who don't like them comparing themselves to tag teams of the past, and name the Road Warriors again.  They says the teams of the past don't matter, only the team of the future - them.  They beat up "local athletes" while JBL runs them down from commentary.

- A reminder that Daniel Bryan is wrestling on Smackdown tomorrow, and a recap of all things Seth Rollins from last night on Raw.

- Justin Gabriel and Rusev work a brief but entertaining match.  The South African got some offense in, and a loud U-S-A cheer, a powerbomb and The Accolade means the U.S. champ wins by pinfall AND submission.  Then he kicks his head off just for good measure.

- Macho Man Randy Savage induction video replay

- The New Day beats Adam Rose, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd in an approximately ten minute main event that ends when Adam Rose taking The Midnight Hour and the pin.  I'm still not a big fan of the New Day (mostly because, for whatever reason, I don't like Xavier Woods ring work), but their energy is kind of fun.  If MotWWWU are going to be hanging around with Rose, at least he's taking the pins, I guess.
