Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:
- FUN WITH LOCAL ADVERTISING! The Fast Lane main event we told you about yesterday is said to be a "placeholder" and isn't set in stone, but still might happen. Meanwhile, an advertisement for a house show in Allentown, PA on March 8th lists WWE World Champion John Cena as the headliner.
- Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback are all expected to be back for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV), but there's a good chance they'll return for the 'go home' show next week. Creative teased bringing them back already last night, but didn't seem to set up any other means for them to return. It will be interesting to see how they bring them back, next Monday or on Sunday the 25th.
- TNA reportedly made a big offer to Adam "Edge" Copeland to appear on last week's live premiere of Impact on their new network, either as a one-shot deal or in a recurring role as Kurt Angle's replacement as their authority figure. He passed on either option.
- Destination America and El Rey Network purchased advertising during last night's WWE Monday Night Raw for TNA Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground, respectively. Both were active on social media during the 8PM - 11PM Eastern time period as well, working on getting existing wrestling viewers to try their version of the form.
- ACH's former tag partner in Ring of Honor (ROH) is following CM Punk to the world of mixed martial arts. Tadarius Thomas asked the promotion for his release and his last date will be January 30th in Dearborn, Michigan. After that, he will move into MMA full-time.
