During tonight's episode of Main Event on the WWE Network, it was announced that two more matches are official for the upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) on Sun., Sept. 21, 2014, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
- Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho
Reigns is transitioning out of his feud with Orton, which saw its blowoff match on last night's episode of Raw in Baltimore. That match ended with a Rollins run-in and beat down alongside the rest of The Authority, so it appears Reigns is still working his way through the group.
Orton, meanwhile, will be working with Jericho in his last PPV before finishing up his latest run with WWE. He had been embroiled in a feud with Bray Wyatt but that was blown off on Raw in a steel cage match that Jericho lost after selling a knee injury.
Here's the updated Night of Champions match card and line-up:
- Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena (WWE world heavyweight championship)
- Sheamus vs. Cesaro (US championship)
- Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (Intercontinental championship)
- The Usos vs. Stardust & Goldust (Tag team championship)
- Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (Divas championship)
- Mark Henry vs. Rusev
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rolllins
- Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho
