Report: Ric Flair added to September 11 NXT Takeover on WWE Network to introduce debuting talent

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR NEXT WEEK'S LIVE NXT TAKEOVER ON WWE NETWORK FOLLOW!

It's not a huge surprise to hear that the Nature Boy will be on hand in Orlando for the latest live event for WWE's developmental flagship show.  But unlike his appearance at the last one (also titled Takeover), his appearance on WWE Network next Thursday, September 11 at 8PM Eastern will not be at the side of his daughter, Women's champion Charlotte, who will be defending her title against Bayley.

No, according to Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com, the Hall of Famer will be at Full Sail Live to introduce one of the promotions recent international signees as he makes his WWE television debut - the Japanese phenomenon whose public signing was presided over by another Hall of Famer in Hulk Hogan...

That's right, scripted fight fans, Ric Flair will welcome Kenta to NXT next week at Takeover.

If true, the company is as high on Kenta as any signee in recent memory.  At less than two months since his official signing announcement, this is a pretty fast track to television, and having two industry legends like Hogan and Flair put him over to the WWE Universe is a huge rub.

Now we can start speculating on whether or not he debuts alone, or brings another guy or two with him...
