Look who's back!
Seth Rollins walked out to the ring at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee to have the referee count Roman Reigns out for the match that was supposed to happen at tonight's Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) but couldn't because the latter suffered a hernia that required emergency surgery just yesterday.
So that's what they did. They counted to 10 and the referee raised Rollins' hand in victory.
Rollins then cut a promo saying he was disappointed in Reigns for not coming through and he felt like he needed to rectify the situation and deliver the match the fans were promised. So he issued an open challenge for any wrestler in the locker room who wanted to go out and have a match.
Cue THE LUNATIC FRINGE.
The titantron cut to a taxi pulling up to the arena and showed Ambrose climbing out of the back seat with a head of steam, heading for the ring. His music played when he got to the stage, the fans went insane, and Dean had finally come home.
Then he went about brawling with Rollins all around the arena before The Authority showed up with a group of security guards. They tried to break up the melee but failed miserably, only creating more chaos. It only ended when Ambrose was about to use a chair and he was rushed from behind by some 15 folks.
They tied his arms up behind his back and sent him off. Rollins then walked to the back with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
He's home, though.
