WWE Night of Champions 2014 results: The Miz wins Intercontinental title from Dolph Ziggler

One of the featured matches on tonight's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee was Dolph Ziggler defending his Intercontinental championship against The Miz. For some reason, WWE felt as though Damien Mizdow and R-Ziggler weren't enough dressing, so Florida Georgia Line was added to commentary.

They even played a part in the match, getting involved when Mizdow confronted them after laying out both Dolph and R-Ziggler on the outside. The country "stars" pushed Mizdow before R-Zigs ran him to the back, leaving Miz and Dolph alone in the ring.

The finish, of course, involved Mizdow running back out at just the right moment, clocking Ziggler, and Miz rolling him up -- with a fistful of tights, even -- for the pinfall.

And we have a new Intercontinental champion once again.
