Multiple sources are confirming that WWE has released two members of the NXT/Developmental roster today. Neither had been featured prominently on television, but both had appeared.
One of the releases is Kendall Skye (real name Kendra Smith), a tall blonde who was mostly seen as a ring announcer on NXT, but she had worked house show matches and was also featured in WWE.com's pictorials of the Developmental women's roster this summer. The former stuntwoman signed to the company in February of 2013.
She tweeted out the following about the move:

The other was Troy McLain (real name Alexander Jones). He had appeared as talent enhancement on television, and was working a motivational speaker gimmick on house shows. The former college athlete worked as a strength and conditioning coach before signing with WWE last year.

WWE has removed their profiles from the company website.
Best wishes to Jones and Smith in whatever comes next for them.
