Somewhat lost amid the hoopla surrounding the debut of Kenta (now known as Hideo Itami), the signings and pending arrival of Kevin Steen and Fergal Devitt, and so many other talented stars, Sami Zayn has been slowly but surely working his way to the NXT championship. He's been arguably the most consistent performer, at least in the ring, of anyone on the roster and it appears his title chase will now be the focus going forward.
He's a clean cut babyface with a tried-and-true story chasing gold. The current champion, Adrian Neville, and his actions at Takeover 2 have only increased interest.
NXT returns to the WWE Network this coming Thursday night and the above video shows exactly why you should be watching it. The chase to see this paid off in earnest is worth every second:
