Rumor Roundup (Sept. 10, 2014): Dean Ambrose return, Daniel Bryan, Kenta debut, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • It's looking likely that Dean Ambrose will make his return at Night of Champions. There's apparently been some talk of announcing it beforehand to help promote the show. He's advertised on all episodes of TV starting with Raw the next night.
  • Speaking of returns, it's now being said that WWE is hopeful Daniel Bryan can be back by Survivor Series now that it's clear he won't need another surgery but they won't rush him back and will be careful with him for as long as needed.
  • Apparently there's already talk of bringing Jerry Springer back, possibly to commentate during a Nikki vs. Brie Bella match.
  • Kenta will make his television debut at NXT Takeover 2 (Electric Boogaloo) in an in-ring segment but he will NOT wrestle a match. It appears this appearance will set up the first program he'll be going into as opposed to actually showcasing his wrestling talents.
  • The identity of The Bunny will become a storyline in the coming weeks and there's been talk of it being Darren Young when he makes his return from his knee injury.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
