WWE SummerSlam 2014 results: Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins win 'GIF of the Night'

Last night's SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California was an outstanding event. Top to bottom, this was one of the best shows WWE has put together in a very, very long time.

Part of the reason for that is the collective talent on display in the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins match that featured a number of entertaining spots. The best of the bunch wins "GIF of the Night" (via our friends at WrestlingWithText.com):

Everything happening here is amazing.

What you don't see just before the start of the GIF is Rollins landing a hard head kick that staggered Ambrose back towards the ropes. That's when he does his recovery spot and catapults himself into a lariat. Rollins, from a straight standing position, takes the hit and does a full flip onto his front without landing on his skull.

Dean, having completed his lariat, executes a textbook Flair flop because -- and this is a big reason he's so beloved -- he was still hurt. His executing an offensive maneuver didn't suddenly cancel out the fact that he had just been kicked in the head.

It took him an extra couple seconds to move over and attempt a pinfall shortly after the GIF ends.

I've watched this at least 500 times and it's amazing every time.
