THIS WAS AWESOME!

No, really, it was every bit as awesome as we assumed it would be when Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins finally had a match at tonight's SummerSlam, a Lumberjack affair that so many were unsure of. In hindsight, after the two tore the house down at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, we had no reason to doubt them.

This match had it all.

They showcased great psychology brawling right away and just beating the shit out of each other throughout the duration of the proceedings. The Lumberjacks got involved multiple times, inciting brawl after brawl that saw big spot after big spot.

Hell, they ended up taking a bunch of guys out into the crowd, way up into the cheap seats. They gave those fans -- us too -- their money's worth.

Ambrose, though he was conflicted and terribly sad about it, gave Rollins his finish, the Curb Stomp, after saying "I loved you". It would have gotten him the pin, too, had Kane not interfered and incited another brawl with the Lumberjacks.

Rollins, the weasel he is, took advantage of the chaos and used his briefcase to knock Dean out to earn the pinfall victory.

Awesome.
