The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2014-15 Season, Week 18

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the August 4th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Tuesday night's Main Event, the Thursday, August 7th editions of TNA Impact, WWE NXT & and ROH TV, and the WWE SmackDown that aired on Friday, August 8th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

If this tweet was from Batista, it would just say "Suck it, h8rs!"  via his official Twitter

  • The champ got mad, and a little worried, and he got your votes.  It doesn't happen often, but from time to time you Smarks do give Cena his props.
  • His verbal sparring partner for SummerSlam almost always gets your support, and last week was no exception.  In between were two women who brought the angry - along with a little bit of mystery as to how they were going to execute their plans.
  • The Swiss Superman couldn't conquer WWE's Superman, but he long ago conquered your hearts.  Similarly, DQs losses don't seem to eliminate your love for the Lunatic Fringe, but they have scooted him down the weekly list (his place at the top of the annual list looks safer with each passing week).
  • Truth got a couple of wins over Bo during the week under consideration last week, but Dallas beat him in a poll of BOlievers, so that's really all that counts, right?
  • A-Double almost cashed in Option C for a second time, and was the lone TNA representative in the Standings.  AJ pretty much just has to show up in WWE to make it on the Standings.

The S3: 2014-15, Week 17
