WWE NXT results, live open thread for July 31, 2014: An Exotic Empress

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Thursday night at 9PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network. We'll have our regular reactions post later, but we'll post match results here. More importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the show dedicated to WWE's Florida-based developmental program - as it airs!

Last week, Charlotte retained her Women's championship by defeating her former BFF Summer Rae in a match that was controversial for the crowd's reaction but not noteworthy for much else.  The Ascension's reign atop the tag team division continued largely unchallenged, but the new pairing of Kalisto and Sin Cara might be rising the ranks and headed to a showdown with Konnor and Viktor soon by virtue of their debut win over the Vaudevillains.  And #1 contender Tyler Breeze returned to action by squashing enhancement talent Mojo Rawley, and then assisting in Rusev CRUSHing NXT Champion Adrian Neville during the one-on-one affair between those two men.

This week...Charlotte's a FIGHTING CHAMP, as she appears on her second show in a row to go one-on-one with Becky Lynch.  Of course, this is a new set of tapings, so she had a bunch of time off in between...but still!  The Exitic Express rolls into Full Sail Live, one of the last places in the world it's actually over.  Will Adam Rose face off against Mr. Potential, Jason Jordan, again?  Will Jordan get any more to show any more character if he does?  The champ will certainly be looking for some revenge against Prince Pretty, finger splint or no.  Will we learn any more details about the championship match Breeze was having his legal team draw up papers for?
