SummerSlam 2014 rumors: Stacked card coming to Los Angeles on Aug. 17

This was covered a bit in today's Rumor Roundup, where most rumors go, but because multiple pro wrestling outlets have gone on record reporting this as news, it's worth passing along in a post of its own.

The SummerSlam 2014 match card and line-up is going to be stacked.

SEScoops first reported on it before the Wrestling Observer confirmed that report with the following line-up of top matches currently planned for the pay-per-view (PPV) on Sun., Aug. 17, 2014, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California:

- John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE world heavyweight championship)
- Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton
- Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella
- Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt

Although it wasn't specified, one would think Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose could be added to the mix, making for an absolutely loaded line-up worthy of the mega-card SummerSlam used to consistently bring. And if other rumors are true that Night of Champions is going to be even bigger, well, there's no telling how massive the rabbit will be when WWE pulls it out of the hat.
