Rumor Roundup (July 26, 2014): Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena, Nikki Bella heel turn, WWE on YouTube, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The schedule leading into SummerSlam for the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar feud looks like this: Lesnar will likely miss Raw this week while Cena responds to the match being made. Then Cena will miss the next week, when Lesnar will return for another angle. Then the two will finally work the same show in the final confrontation on Aug. 11 on the go home show.
  • There's apparently been some talk within WWE of having Nikki Bella turn heel on her sister, Brie, during the course of this storyline with Stephanie McMahon. That would mean Nikki siding with The Authority which, when you think about it, could work really well if they ran with it, not to mention giving Brie a big program once she's done with Stephanie.
  • The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Bo Dallas is now on the table for SummerSlam, as the three would be feuding over the Intercontinental championship. Sheamus also might fit in here somewhere, possibly as a feud for Dallas if they decide against the triple threat.
  • Despite the fact that some folks within WWE believe its presence on YouTube is hurting the WWE Network -- which is asinine, by the way -- the company is going to continue offering a TON of content there. What's more, they aren't even going after a lot of videos that are blatant copyright violations because they believe it will gain them fans via added exposure.
  • Apparently, WWE recently brought in an acting coach to work with the wrestlers who are down in developmental at NXT.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
