What you see above is the first official video promo for the upcoming Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena WWE world heavyweight championship match that will headline the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., Aug. 17, 2014, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It is, as expected, a fine piece of work from the always outstanding production team at WWE.
They're calling it the "biggest fight of the summer", and that works just fine because, well, that's exactly what it is. That will ring especially true if they're allowed to work the same style of match they did the last time the two met at Extreme Rules 2012 when Lesnar busted Cena open hardway early on with vicious elbows.
No shooting, just laying 'em in extra stiff.
This will be Lesnar's first official match since he broke Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. If you'll remember, that match only happened because The Authority wasn't prepared to offer Brock a shot at the title at that time. Now, he's "Plan C" and the evil overlords are simply doing what's best for (their) business by bringing in the big guns to get the belt off Cena.
The countdown is on.
