One of the highlights of the Intercontinental championship battle royal at last night's WWE Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida, was Heath Slater eliminating Cesaro. The crowd popped big at the arena and fans at home were surely shocked at such a surprising twist.
But we shouldn't have been.
Because Bad News Barrett, the former champion who gave up to his title thanks to a shoulder injury to make this match necessary in the first place, totally predicted this one day before the event.
@WWECesaro that was even better than I expected! Thanks @HeathSlaterOMRB

Does this mean it's at least possible that Cesaro's elimination was a rib? Or maybe WWE is actually planning on doing something with Slater now that he's the only surviving member of 3MB? Or perhaps it was just a happy accident?
Either way, best thing.
