WWE Battleground 2014 results: AJ Lee pins Paige; retains Divas title

Good friends AJ Lee and Paige had themselves a match, much as it must have pained the two to do so considering how close they've become, for the Divas championship at tonight's WWE Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida.

Paige, for her part, strangely acted as though she didn't want to actually beat AJ during the match. She executed a sunset flip powerbomb that appeared to nearly injure both herself and Lee, then acted really upset about it. She was hesitant for most of the match.

The same cannot be said for AJ, who earned the pinfall with the Shining Wizard after breaking out of the Scorpion Crosslock to retain her title.
