WWE Battleground 2014 odds: John Cena, Cesaro favored to win major titles

J. Meric

Here are the latest odds for tonight's (July 20, 2014) WWE Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) taking place at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida, from Paddy Power (via Wrestling Observer):

A.J. Lee - 500
Paige +300

Cesaro -250
The Miz +333
Bo Dallas +350
Dolph Ziggler +800
Sheamus +1000
Everyone else is getting no action

Usos +250
Harper & Rowan -400

John Cena -500
Roman Reigns +240
Randy Orton ?
Kane +2500

Dean Ambrose -138
Seth Rollins +100

Chris Jericho +220
Bray Wyatt -333

Rusev -500
Jack Swagger +300

Naomi -200
Cameron +150

There have been rumors floating around that Cena may actually drop the title tonight and Seth Rollins could be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase but that seems incredibly short sighted. The idea of Rollins going into SummerSlam as WWE world heavyweight champion is far fetched at best.

Still, anything can happen.

Elsewhere, Cesaro is the favorite to win the Intercontinental championship, which could make sense if WWE thinks that will retain some of the heat he'll lose with Paul Heyman moving away from him to realign himself with a returning Brock Lesnar.

All that said, these odds are early and no smart money has come in. So don't take this to the bank.
