Rumor Roundup (July 19, 2014): CM Punk podcast, Sting vs. Undertaker, Brock Lesnar return, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • CM Punk has been booked to do his first podcast since his departure from WWE. He'll appear with Chris Hardwick on the Nerdist show on July 26 in San Diego, a live taping. It looks like this will be his first major interview since his depature from WWE was made official. Speaking of which, another rumor going around is that Punk and WWE came to terms on his departure before he was removed from WWE.com and sent out his tweet.
  • It looks like if Undertaker decides to come back for one more match, it will be with Sting at WrestleMania 31. That is the plan, if he decides to come back and that's a very big if.
  • Brock Lesnar is scheduled back on next Monday night's episode of Raw, which officially kicks off the build for SummerSlam. John Cena will not be on that show due to film commitments, so there's a big angle planned in his absence and it does involve Lesnar.
  • There is a WWE Kids magazine issue that features Triple H and Roman Reigns on the cover asking who would win in a match between the two. Somehow this has led to renewed talk of the two having a match at SummerSlam. There has been talk of having Reigns work with Randy Orton first, then move on to Triple H at Night of Champions.
  • WWE may be dropping Alicia Fox's crazy woman gimmick, so you may not be seeing any more tempter tantrums after matches. Tom Phillips is reportedly super happy about this.
  • WWE is currently in the process of sending out renewal notices for the WWE Network to those who subscribed early on. There is no special promotion as of right now but one is expected as we get closer to the first renewal date.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
