Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Thursday night at 9PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network. We'll have our regular reactions post later, but we'll post match results here. More importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the show dedicated to WWE's Florida-based developmental program - as it airs!
Last week, Summer Rae defeated Bayley to become the #1 contender for Charlotte's women's title. The BFFs are no more, but Sasha Banks may still be on The First Lady's side when the chips are down. Or she may not be - it's so hard to tell with these Beautiful Fierce Females. CJ Parker didn't like the way Xavier Woods accepted his apology, so he clocked the PhD from behind. Sin Cara was visiting developmental along with X, but at least he got a win, while Bull Dempsey's push continued with a win over a jobber and a vow to become NXT champ. The current NXT champ, Adrian Neville, stole the show in a main event that featured four talented performers. Tyson Kidd stole a win for himself and Justin Gabriel when he tricked Sami Zayn into checking on his injured wife, Natalya. It was an especially crappy move, considering Kidd is the one who knocked her from the apron...
This week...The Vaudevillians say they're going after The Ascension's tag titles, but they may need a few more tune-ups before taking on the champs. We haven't seen Konnor and Viktor in a while, so they may need to work off some ring rust themselves. Both teams probably want to keep their eye on that little guy from Jersey and his big buddy from Queens, though (howudoin). Xavier Woods should get a chance to get back at Parker for his cheap shot from last week, looks like Becky Lynch's turn in the babyface female rotation unless they debut someone and Zayn is due a measure of revenge for the past couple of weeks worth of getting screwed over by Kidd (FACT).
NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts, but yours truly and many of our regulars don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.
Enjoy the show!
