Rumor Roundup (July 15, 2014): Sting WWE deal, Seth Rollins injury, Big Gold Belt, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

• Because WWE is already selling Sting merchandise, it's being taken as a sign that he's signed a deal with the company beyond an agreement for the WWE 2K15 video game. That is not confirmed at this time, but it would definitely make sense.

• Seth Rollins may or may not have been injured during last night's episode of Raw. As of this post being published, and we will update if news comes in, obviously, there isn't anything known other than it appears to be legitimate, or at least WWE was treating it as such during the show. It's possible it was just an angle, but there's a lot of information floating around that can't be confirmed. Some rumors floated that he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance after the show. We'll know for sure when WWE brings word of it ... or if they stay quiet.

• There are some who believe WWE may have retired the Big Gold Belt during Raw last night when John Cena passed it off to Ric Flair and told him to "keep it". This is being supported, apparently, by Cena mentioning defending the "WWE title" this Sunday. Obviously there's no confirmation of this, which is why it's a rumor for now.

• After a couple weeks not even going to TV, Emma was apparently backstage at Raw last night though obviously she wasn't used. It's expected she will be back on television in some capacity soon enough.

• Jeff Jarrett was quietly added to the WWE Alumni section at some point over the past week. This doesn't appear to be for any particular reason.
