WWE NXT results, live open thread for June 5, 2014: A Mighty Wind

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Thursday night at 9PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network. We'll have our regular reactions post later, but we'll post match results here. More importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the show dedicated to WWE's Florida-based developmental program - as it airs!

Last week, Takeover happened, and it was glorious.  Adrian Neville defeated Tyson Kidd to remain NXT champ, and the former WWE tag champ was not a good loser.  Charlotte became only the second person to hold the NXT Women's title, and shared an emotional moment with her father, Ric Flair, while celebrating her victory over Natalya.  Rusev CRUSHed Mojo Rawley and The Rose Express ran over Camacho.  The Ascension got a little bit more of a challenge than usual from El Local & Kalisto, but the outcome was the same, and Viktor & Konnor are still the champs.  Plus, Tyler Breeze upset Sami Zayn (via a possibly nefarious tactic) to become the #1 contender to Neville's crown.

This week...the new #1 contender addresses the NXT Universe - and debuts a music video for his new theme song.  But is Kidd done pursuing NXT gold?  Was the Women's champ victory a turning point for her character or will she return to her "Mean Girls" ways with fellow BFF Sasha Banks?  Will anyone be able to knock The Ascension from their mountain?  When are we going to get some more debuts?!?!
