WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS & LIVE BLOG JUNE 3

- Bad News Barrett was out first. He said he made RVD delusional with the Bullhammer at Payback. Then he talked about Cesaro screwing him on Raw, leading to RVD getting a pinfall against him. Barrett said RVD is so dumb these days from repeated blows to the head he has to repeat his initials at all times just to remember who he is. He called Van Dam a zombie who should be on Walking Dead. RVD showed up from out of nowhere to very little reaction and ran Barrett out of the ring. That match is later.

- Goldust was out next and we were told Cody Rhodes had found another partner for him. This time, Kofi Kingston would be providing the assist. Their opponents? Luke Harper & Erick Rowan. They had a decent match, though the first hot tag late was poorly executed. Cody was shown backstage watching the match, which makes you wonder why he doesn't just walk out to watch it ringside. When it came time for the second hot tag, Kofi came in like a house of fire working his usually bad offense. Harper put a stop to it with a big boot to the guts right as Kingston was coming off the top. Goldust saved him from getting pinned and Kofi gained back some momentum but he wasn't good enough. Harper reversed Trouble in Paradise with a clothesline and that got the pin. Cody was frustrated backstage.

- Renee Young did an interview backstage with RVD. She wondered if he wanted to address Bad News Barrett verbally after he addressed him physically earlier. Van Dam said he's one of the coolest guys around and Barrett must be mistaking his coolness for weakness. He stumbled through the rest of the interview and, to be frank, this was one of the worst interviews he's ever done. He seemed to get lost multiple times.

- Already main event time, Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam. The match was slow to get going and featured odd commentary from Byron Saxton with lines like "when you take a risk and it doesn't work failure could happen". Barrett was in control for much of the match until they went into RVD's first comeback. It was snuffed out rather quickly but right when Barrett was set to hit the Bullhammer, Cesaro hopped into the ring and planted both guys with the Neutralizer. Paul Heyman was looking on from the stage, nodding at the destruction.
