KENTA signing expected to be announced during WWE's upcoming Japan tour

WWE has a tour of Japan scheduled for the second week in July, and Mike Johnson at PWInsider is reporting that there's a press conference scheduled for July 12, 2014 for which puro fans will want to mark their calendars.

Speculation about a big Japanese signing has been buzzing all year, especially when KENTA officially departed Pro Wrestling NOAH, a promotion with which he was synonymous.  Now it looks like they may have just been waiting to make a big splash in his home country.  With a show in Tokyo on July 11th and one in Osaka on the 12th, all eyes will be on the largest pro wrestling/sports entertainment company in the world in Japan - making this the perfect time to make a huge splash.

Nothing official, and even this leak doesn't provide any answers about when he would report to Developmental, if he would be on NXT or get a pass right to Raw and Smackdown, etc.

But with word also floating around that Prince Devitt has stopped taking European bookings and that Kevin Steen's last Ring of Honor dates will be in late July or August, fans have reason to be excited about some fresh yet experienced blood flowing into WWE very soon.
