WWE ranks the top 10 matches in NXT history

WWE.com

While NXT hasn't been available for consumption through traditional means for a number of years now, the WWE developmental promotion has consistently delivered top notch wrestling for the entirety of its existence.

It's with that in mind that WWE.com ranked the 10 best matches in its short history (click here to read full descriptions for each match).

10. William Regal vs. Kassius Ohno (April 10, 2013)
9. Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville (Nov. 27, 2013)
8. Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt (May 1, 2013)
7. Big E vs. Seth Rollins (Jan. 9, 2013)
6. Adrian Neville vs. Corey Graves (Oct. 23, 2013)
5. William Regal vs. Cesaro (Dec. 25, 2013)
4. Adrian Neville vs. Bo Dallas (ArRIVAL)
3. Natalya vs. Charlotte (Takeover)
2. Paige vs. Emma (ArRIVAL)
1. Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro (Aug. 21, 2013)

The Zayn vs. Cesaro 2-out-of-3 Falls match notching the top spot isn't at all surprising considering those two tore the house down that night. The fact that they're match at ArRIVAL didn't make the cut is a tad unfortunate.

It's also worth debating which women's match was the superior of the two. If this was my list they would be switched, though that's admittedly taking into account the assist from Ric Flair and Bret Hart, who added an emotional layer it would have lacked otherwise.

As for the rest, well, William Regal forever.
