Slapstick Saturday: I'm afraid I've got some good news

It's not always what you say, but rather how you say it.

There's a great scene in The Simpsons episode "Lost our Lisa" (season nine) when Lisa is looking for the museum and wanders into the Russian district, asking two crusty old Russians if they know the route. They scream at her in their native tongue and she runs away scared, but the subtitles reveal they were providing helpful, courteous directions.

Those darn accents!

That's similar to what's going on here, as WWE has asked the increasingly-enjoyable Wade Barrett to take a break from his barrage of "Bad News" to try delivering some good news for a change. Which was kind of like asking the Grinch to play Santa Claus.

Check it out.

"It's Samantha in Accounting's birthday, and there's going to be cake in the break room!"

Barrett actually ends the skit by proclaiming himself the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, something that may actually be possible following the Money in the Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) later this month in Boston, assuming the Brit gets the magic briefcase.

But would that be good or bad news for wrestling fans?
