Test's Cageside Evaluation

His name is Test and Cageside Seats readers have reported back on what they love and loathe about the former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Here's the full evaluation.

WWE.com

What you loved:

  1. Big Boot - How he didn't hurt people is amazing, that thing looked so vicious.
  2. Entrance Theme - Some of you thought it was the best thing about Test.
  3. Pump-handle Slam - Here's an example on Bobby Lashley, who is, as you can see, not exactly a small guy.
  4. Look - He was exactly what Vince McMahon wanted in a wrestler: tall and in-shape.
  5. T&A - Great team along with Albert, one that introduced the wrestling world to Trish Stratus.

Best comment comes via beckett929:

"He had an awesome look, was like the legit prototype Vince McMahon wrestler. He wasn’t "Scott Hall good" in the ring, but for 6’8 280, he was a lot better than other mid-to-larger guys we’d seen up to that point, and even since there haven’t been many that are much better."

What you loathed:

  1. Bland - Just a guy.
  2. No Direction - After T&A and his failed wedding storyline with Stephanie McMahon, he was just a go-nowhere mid-carder for the rest of his WWE run.
  3. RIP - Passed away at the extremely young age of 33.
  4. Mic - Never amazing on the stick.
  5. Nash-Lite - A few compared him to Kevin Nash, but without the mic skills.

Best comment comes via bobtherandybuilder:

"Unfortunately he was rather Nash-like in the ring and rather un-Nash-like on the mic. Not a good combination."

On to the poll! With 175 votes, Test's average score is 3.

Thanks, Cagesiders! We are going to pause until Sunday's recap.

Until then!
