During her press conference after last night's (Sun., June 1, 2014) WWE Payback pay-per-view (PPV) at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, Paige, who had successfully retained her Divas championship by defeating Alicia Fox earlier in the evening, was interrupted by Cameron of the Funkadactyls.
Their exchange, starting with Cameron's opening salvo:
"Why haven't I had my shot at the Divas titles? I've busted my butt this whole year and you just waltz up in here and you think you can just take this. What have you done to prove that you've got the Divas championship? ... My question still remains. Why haven't I got my chance at the Divas title?"
Paige returns fire:
"Okay, I'm going to be really nice. I'm not just some rookie that just walked off the street, Cameron. I've busted my butt as well, for a very long time. And I do deserve to be Divas champion and I did what you couldn't. But since I'm a fighting champion, I'll be more than happy to give you a match whenever you want."
