The Think Like a Man, Too star continues to be one of the best investments WWE has made in terms of their appearance fee budget, as his time on WWE Raw continues to be the hot topic of Kevin Hart's publicity tour in support of the new movie, which opens tomorrow, Friday, June 20, 2014 (check out video of the comedian on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon here).
Last night on Comedy Central's The Daily Show, his guest star spot from this past Monday night was the first and main topic conversation between the funny man and host Jon Stewart.
He tells the story of how WWE got him in the ring despite his repeated objections, and gives an enhanced version of the story/joke about how he's the first grown ass man to enter the ring via the bottom rope.
Stewart himself may be better known as a political satirist, but he reveals his inner mark a bit with a joke about Evolution breaking up - he should have said The Shield, but I guess technically Evolution did break up when Batista left. He does better than Hart, who thinks he worked with Fandango on Raw (he sort of did, but Kevin clearly thinks Adam Rose is 'Dango).
Both men talk about their childhood fandom, with Hart name-dropping Ric Flair, Junkyard Dog, Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors and Koko B. Ware. Stewart then showed his age by dipping more into the 70s with Bruno Sammartino, Gorilla Monsoon, Haystacks Calhoun, Jimmy Snuka and Chief Jay Strongbow.
