Ring of Honor news: Countdown to Best in the World and televised pay-per-view debut

Just five days until Ring of Honor (ROH) hits the television screens of paying customers across North America when Best in the World kicks off from the Tennessee State Fair Grounds/Expo in Nashville!

The June 22, 2014 show will be available via DirectTV, Dish Network, Comcast/Xfinity, Bell Canada Satellite and all the carriers listed on the company's website here.  Fans worldwide can catch the show online on ROH's UStream channel.  The price is $24.95 via either TV or internet.

Internet pay-per-view (PPV) via UStream was the delivery mechanism for the company's May shows, a pair of co-promoted supercards with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).  Those shows are now available for purchase on DVD.  Global Wars from Toronto was headlined by Kevin Steen vs. Adam Cole for the ROH World Championship and featured a crazy three-way for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Championship between The Young Bucks, Forever Hooligans and Time Splitters.  New York City's War of the Worlds show was even more loaded and saw The Bucks defend their ROH Tag titles against reDRagon, Cole vs. Jushin "Thunger" Liger and a triple threat for IWGP Heavyweight strap that saw AJ Styles defend against Michael Elgin and "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada.

Both discs are available for $19.99 US from the company's online store.

Since we reported that Christopher Daniels would be joined by friend and partner Frankie Kazarian when he returns to ROH at Best in the World, the company has also confirmed that the pair (unfortunately no longer known as Bad Influence) will be facing reDRagon at the PPV.  Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish currently hold the ROH tag titles, and are coming off a successful defense against The Briscoes from this past weekend's Road to Best in the World shows.

The belts will be on the line at the Nashville show this weekend.

Here's the latest updated card for Best in the World:

Michael Elgin vs. Adam Cole (c)

Christopher Daniels & Kazarian VS. reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) (c)

ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP - Truth Martini will be handcuffed to the ring post
Matt Taven vs. Jay Lethal (c) with Truth Martini

Matt Hardy & Michael Bennett with Maria vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe

Kevin Steen vs. Silas Young

Roderick Strong with Adam Page vs. Cedric Alexander

6 MAN MAYHEM - Winner gets future TV Title shot
