Rumor Roundup (June 13, 2014): CM Punk, WWE Network news, Mick Foley, Future endeavor updates, more!

For many fans, reading about rumors -- and trawling the sites that traffic in them -- has become as popular as watching the matches themselves. In this daily column, we take a look at the biggest rumors and weirdest stories being churned out by those pro wrestling "news" sites.

Important reminders: Rumors are "rumors" and not "news" for a reason, folks. That which has not been confirmed as legitimate news or fact will be made clear.

Rumors of the Day:

  • With the success of "Warrior Week", the WWE is looking to add other theme weeks to the Network programming slate. CM Punk, Steve Austin, The Rock, Randy Savage, The Hardys, The Authority, The Kliq, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Sting, Lex Luger, Christian and Alberto Del Rio were all names that were brought up in a survey set out by the company regarding consumer interest in the idea .
  • Mick Foley says he will sign a Legends contract if the WWE releases an action figure featuring Mick Foley dressed as Santa or if he can be put on the Exotic Express with Adam Rose. He is apparently at least semi-serious.
  • What the dirt screens are saying are the reasons behind some of the releases: Tatsu was thought to have regressed and creative had nothing for Brodus Clay. Camacho's release was surprising as he was very popular within NXT circles, and Curt Hawkins' release was also not expected, as he had time left on his current deal. As for Teddy Long, his contract expired and it was well known within WWE that he would be leaving soon.

  • It also seems that the performance of the WWE Network had a lot to do with the cuts, and that more cuts of office staff may be on the way.
  • The plan to make Tyson Kidd a masked superstar has apparently been nixed, and it looks like he will just be pushed as Tyson Kidd, Mr. Neidhart.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such.
