WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS & LIVE BLOG JUNE 10
- The show opened with Triple H coming down to the ring. He brought up the questions of why The Authority would strip Daniel Bryan of the WWE championship. They ran back the video from Dr. Joseph Maroon. Then Triple H blamed the fans for stripping Bryan, saying "it's because of all of you that Bryan is no longer the WWE world heavyweight champion because, quite frankly, you deserve better. You deserve to have a champion that can, at the very least, actually defend that championship". Well, he's not wrong. He talked about the Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming PPV in Boston and ran down who will compete for the WWE title. He promised a new champion. Then he switched to talking about The Shield breakup and what Seth Rollins did on Raw two weeks ago. He introduced Seth Rollins as "the future of the WWE", and that god awful entrance music played.
- Triple H said they both know why he did it but he wants to know how it felt, handing Rollins the mic with a smile. Rollins talked about what happened on Raw and there being a moment when Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose couldn't understand. They're both destined for mediocrity, unlike Rollins, who is destined to stand in power with Triple H. He bagged on the fans, saying they don't have the guts to do something like he did last Monday. He said Triple H understands that power, he understands what it takes to get to the top. "I adapted and I evolved. What you're looking at is the evolution of Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were nothing but dead weight. I did what I had to do. I cut them loose." The crowd hit him with what sounded like a "boring" chant. He stopped to thank Triple H for "helping to create this opportunity". That brought out Dolph Ziggler, who once again called out Rollins for aligning with Triple H and not having to work alone for what he's got or whatever. Dolph said he's going to wipe that smirk off Rollins' face and shove it down his tiny giraffe throat. He also called Seth out for riding with Triple H, an "egomaniac boss" who holds his hand.
- Jimmy Uso def. Luke Harper in a singles match. They didn't get much time and I would love to tell you what happened during the match but my stream is absolutely awful tonight. Could be an issue on my end but my Internet is fine in every other way.
- Kofi Kingston was out and cutting an inset promo on Rusev, saying he's making a good living in America and if he doesn't like it he can take his medal and go back to Russia. Then Lana was out and saying Americans are fat and ugly. She is what American men desire but none of them can have her. Finally, Rusev was out and it was time for another squash match. Well, it wasn't a squash, necessarily, with Kingston getting more offense in than you might expect. But Rusev won and it wasn't difficult.
- Renee Young interviewed Summer Rae. She brought up her relationship with Fandango, her public breakup, then her attack on Layla on Raw. Renee asked if that was jealousy. Summer said she was fine with Layla having her sloppy seconds or whatever but when it was paraded around on Raw, that's when she snapped. At this point, Layla came in with some cat litter, dumped it on Summer, then dumped milk on her too. That was brutal.
- Main event was next. Seth Rollins def. Dolph Ziggler after a good match.
