WWE Extreme Rules 2014 results: The Shield defeat Evolution in an awesome match

Although it was expected to be the main event, the Evolution vs. The Shield match actually went on fourth, just an hour into tonight's (Sun., May 4, 2014) Extreme Rules event at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The quality of the match didn't suffer one bit.

They worked a regular six-man tag early, with Evolution beating on Dean Ambrose to get the heat on before the hot tag to Roman Reigns. From that point, the action heated up in a big way. The two sides brawled all over the arena, including Ambrose getting sent down some steps while Seth Rollins went flying from the stands.

It was insane.

Back in the ring, Reigns hit a Superman punch and a spear to pin Batista clean.
