The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2014-15 Season, Week 4

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - starting with TNA's Sacrifice pay-per-view (PPV), the April 28th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Tuesday night's Main Event, the Thursday, May 1st editions of TNA Impact, WWE NXT and ROH TV, and the WWE SmackDown that aired on May 2nd.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

This is what happens when you vote for a guy who doesn't tweet.  I have to go on freaking pinterest.

Pinterest is scary.  Not tumblr scary, but still...pretty scary.  This is pretty cool though.

  • Sure do like those Hounds of Justice.
  • The good news for Wade Barrett is that Bad News is the best thing for him since yellow armbands went out of style.
  • We started to get a little annoyed with hearing about Paul Heyman's absent client and his accomplishments of last month.  This didn't help our evaluation of his present client much, either.
  • Kane tombstoned someone more beloved than a priest, and you love him for it.  It's unclear if you'd reward him for doing the same to Bobby Roode, who is clearly the most beloved member of the TNA roster.
  • The Eater of Worlds has finished ninth each of the three weeks of this season.  After a few weeks at the top, the new Divas champs has found herself where the old one was for much of last season.

The S3: 2014-15, Week 3

1. Dean Ambrose
2. Seth Rollins

3. Roman Reigns
4. Bad News Barrett
5. Paul Heyman

6. Kane
7. Bobby Roode

8. Cesaro
9. Bray Wyatt
10. Paige

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Paul E's roll was slowed, but only enough to put himself within striking distance of the pack occupying the four spots behind him.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending April 26

1. Paul Heyman - 26 points
2. Cesaro - 20

3. Roman Reigns - 19

4. Dean Ambrose - 18

5. Paige - 17
6. Seth Rollins - 9

7. (tie) Daniel Bryan - 8

7. (tie) Bobby Roode - 8

8. Bad News Barrett - 7

9. (tie) Eric Young - 6
9. (tie) Bray Wyatt - 6
9. (tie) Alicia Fox - 6

There's not much time before Extreme Rules muddles your brain about what happened in what week, so refresh your memory of the events that do count for this edition of the Standings -  RawMain EventNXTSmackdown, and Sacrifice/Impact...plus Ring of Honor - where our coverage isn't great, but the show under consideration is still available for free on their website.

Then give us a click in the poll (that sounds filthy and/or illegal), or four (or more) names in a comment!
