Hardcore Holly's Cageside Evaluation

What you loved:

1. Alabama Slam - A simple yet devastating move.
2. Dropkick - "Best dropkick in the business."
3. Holly Family - Great family storyline alongside Crash and Molly.
4. Longevity - Stuck through a lot of trash gimmicks over his 15 years in the WWE.
5. Brock Feud - Ironic? Unfortunately Brock Lesnar dumped Holly on his head, breaking his neck, and putting him out for a year.

"Much like Kane, he went through some bad gimmicks before the Monday Night Wars and the Attitude Era allowed him to find the right niche in wrestling. The Alabama Slam is a great looking move and he had a decent arsenal. His only memorable feud I can remember is with Brock Lesnar after he got dropped on his neck and missed a year. I think he might of gotten a title shot out of it since Brock was champion at the time. He was a good guy on Tough Enough and he helped make that balance of good-natured trainer and militaristic trainer. Plus Josh Matthews is still afraid of him, even after all these years."

What you loathed:

1. Jerk - Thanks to Holly's Tough Enough appearances, he had this outdated "pay your dues" attitude with younger wrestlers. Seems like he has an unappealing personality.
2. A Guy - Stuck in the mid-card (or lower) he never made much of an impression.
3. Sparky Plugg - I never got why WWE continuously gave their guys sport gimmicks, they almost always suck.
4. Mic Work - Name a classic Hardcore Holly promo, I dare you.
