The show features

Triple H may have brought The Shield to the WWE, but he definitely has lost the leash on The Hounds of Justice.  After Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins dispatched The Authority's trio of Kane and New Age Outlaws with relative ease at WrestleMania 30, The Game was forced to reunite with Batista and Randy Orton to reform one of the most dominant stables in WWE history in hopes of putting The Shield down.

Evolution may have 31 world championships between the three of them, but Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns have youth and confidence to spare.

Who will adapt, and who will perish?

The co-main event(s)

Things haven't been all wine and roses for Daniel Bryan since his career defining moment in New Orleans or his life defining one when he married Brie Bella the week after WrestleMania.  In addition to personal trials and tribulations, he has had to deal with a deranged former tag partner since Stephanie McMahon remasked Kane and pointed him at the WWE World Heavyweight Champ.  Now, with having been threatened and being assaulted himself by The Big Red Monster, The Beard will get extreme to keep his belts and protect his family.

John Cena is used to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe, but even he has been disturbed by the love Bray Wyatt and his twisted words have been getting from young and old alike.  He may have prevailed at 'Mania, but The Eater of Worlds has continued to play with Cena's mind and drive him to the edge.  On Sunday, there will be nowhere else for either man to run, when they square off in a steel cage.

In other action

Bad News Barrett survived a tournament full of pretenders to emerge as the #1 contender for the Intercontinental championship.  He gets a shot at Big E's belt this weekend.  Three other men who shared that bracket with him, Cesaro, Jack Swagger and RVD, have developed quite a bit of bad blood between them, and will attempt to settle their issues in a three-way dance at Extreme Rules.

This time last month, Paige hadn't even made her WWE debut.  But the NXT Women's champion came out to the Raw after WrestleMania to congratulate the Divas champ, and ended up leaving with the belt.  She's spent the time since establishing herself as a woman to be respected in the ring, and she makes her first special event defense against the bruising Tamina.

R-Truth and Xavier Woods have failed to fell The Bulgarian Brute individually, so they'll try tackling Alexander Rusev together on Sunday.  And the pre-show kicks off in a big way with a couple of little people, when Hornswoggle goes one-on-one with El Torito.

In this StoryStream, we'll have previews of each and every match on the card. Stay tuned!
